k over the past 2-3 nights ive became lucid in my dream and when i try to move my head to look around my eyes jus open up :S. out of the 3 lucid dreams ive had i could only move around in the most recent one, but it seems like more often then not when i become lucid i cant move move my head n i jus wake up >< any tips?
When I am paralized in dreams I find it happens for a few reasons. 1. It is early in the night and am still exhausted, 2. It is almost time to wake up and my body is trying to get me out of the dream and awake and 3. I am really frusterated about something in waking life.
I really can only do something about #3, which is to fix the frusteration.
Sometimes when I'm paralyzed I can get out of it. I just hang out and watch (or listen to--if I'm blind) the dream. I ignor that I'm paralyzed. I put it completely out of my mind. I get caught up in observing the dream. Then, because I'm giving no attention to the paralysis anymore it simply goes away. The trick is to give all your attention to something else.

When I find that I can not move around in my LD it is because I am not fully in the dream yet and any forced movement makes me wake up. Recently when this has happened I have been able to move my hand into view. I just stare at it until I feel that I am now fully in the dream before I try to make any big movements like getting out of bed.
