Hmmm!
I have been practicing lucid dreaming, and recently have been having more success at it, by during the waking time, doing reality checks every hour (light switch, time, holding my nose and trying to breathe).
Everytime i become lucid, it last for a very short time, enough to know im in control, and the most amazing feeling i have ever felt.
I have tried shouting, and each time i get another word out, but then wake up..
any tips on prolonging a LD?
Cheers
Gavin

Spinning on the spot, I find, can help to prolong it. Also, as soon as you become lucid, drop to the ground, and focus on it. Don't try and keep an entire landscape in focus, work on just one part of it. Good luck!

Cheers mate, ill try that. my lucid dreams are happening like once a week, most prob in the next day or so, havent been able to choose when to have them.

When you first become lucid don't do anything exciting. Just hang out for a while. This allows time for the dream state to stabilize. Then do whatever you've been waiting for!

Don't shout because you might shout in the real world, thus waking you up.

Don't try and get out of your bed and stand up in a lucid dream. You will and when you wake up youll fall down (GRRR)
