Tell me how to create worlds.

I can't seem to create worlds when I become lucid. The last time I became lucid because of a lucky reality check - I was in my bedroom - and I wanted to go to the place that I had in my mind. An ocean cliff at sunset. I tried to create it, or teleport there, but it didn't work. I closed my eyes and imagined my destination, but when I opened them again I was still in my bedroom.
I also lost stability because I closed my eyes, I think.
I also tried flying, I can usually do that, but even that didn't work. Help!
      1) Why are all my powers gone
      2) How do I create a world without losing stability

I REALLY want to go to that place...
And I want my stuff back.

You can't get to your dream world because what you can do while dreaming and what you know of reality are conflicting. In short, you're more or less telling yourself (subconsciously that is) that making this dreamscape appear or teleporting there is hard or impossible.

Breaking away from the norms of reality and the laws of physics can be hard in dreams. It's all about belief in yourself. I would try something a little sneakier that will be easier for your brain to accept. If you're stuck in your room, explore your house and find a door. Tell yourself that the door will lead you to your desired dream destination. Go find your TV, turn it on, and find the channel with your ocean cliff - then jump into the TV! Or you could find a dream character and ask them if they know how to get there. Most dream characters are pretty accommodating if you just ask.

      Hope that helps!

I lost control after about 30 seconds of lucidity. I don't have time.
Flying is impossible in real life - I've never had any problems doing that...
My first few LD's offered me some control - I could fly, teleport and use telekinesis...But now - nothing!
      Why did it change?

Perhaps you're not initially stabilizing the dream well enough before you try to proceed with controlling it. You said your last dream only lasted 30 seconds. Make sure you use the techniques to make your dream last longer! Look at your hands. Feel anything that's within reach for the tactile sensations. Spin around a bit. Repeat to yourself constantly: I'm dreaming, this is all a dream, I can do whatever I want. Once the dream feels completely "steady," it's likely to last much longer and give you more time to practice your dream control.

      Good luck!

You are probably right. When I become aware the first thing I do is rush things and try to teleport to that cliff right away. Maybe I shouldn't rush
      That explains my stability issues.
But why can't I do anything??? In the LD before this one I was completely powerless too...
      It's so frustrating.

So, I had another LD last night. I stabilized it first, then walked through a door that should lead to my ocean cliff. But it wasn't my cliff! It was a really small island instead, in the middle of the ocean. I tried creating the world again by closing my eyes and imagining it, but the only thing that happened was that I shrinked the sun.

Any hints? Why didn't the dream listen to my imagination?

Sorry if this has already been discussed but here is my advice.

-Having total belief that it will work is the most important factor, you must eliminate doubt, EXPECT to see where you want to go, like there is no question it will work.

-Closing your eyes is hard because you are trying to make something just appear, i would suggest walking through a door and saying, this door will lead to the cliff off the ocean or whatever. You can also do this by spinning, spinning is really good for going to new scenes, just make sure you focus on the fact your are lucid, or you might lose it.
      Lucid Goals:
[ ] have four lucid dreams in one week
[X] be able to fly in a lucid dream
[ ] complete a lucid task of the month
      [ ] have a conversation with my own sub-conscious

I did it. Almost. I was standing in front of a door, imagined the cliff, then opened the door and there it was!!! But something was wrong...
It wasn't a high cliff, but a small island in the middle of the ocean. The ocean itself and the sunset were like they should, though.
I tried fixing this by closing my eyes and imagining the cliff (the door had disappeared!!) but the only thing I did was shrink the sun.
I wonder what went wrong... Maybe the next time I try this I should focus on the cliff instead of the ocean.

The subconscious mind is what controls the dream world and it is very susceptible to suggestion. Everything you tell yourself in a dream will be true. This means that if you use very specific language, you can make anything happen. Don't think to yourself that you want something to happen. The fact that you want it to happen can be easily true without it actually happening. The trick is to tell yourself that something is happening or is about to happen. Do not think "I want the cliff to be around the next corner," but rather "The cliff is just around this corner."

It also helps to give yourself a reason to believe that these assertions are true. For an example, think to yourself that you planned to meet the person you are looking for at that exact spot at that exact time and that they will be walking up to you when you turn around.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

I tried it again last night. I think I opened and closed the same door like 5 times. Failed every single time. I think the cliff and the ocean were there, even the eclipse, but it was WAAAAY to dark! I want more light!

After a few tries I gave up - I just wanted to meet this DC, no matter where. So I tried creating a grass field...I thought that'd be easy. Guess not I woke up soon after trying it.

Maybe I shouldn't be so picky - after all, changing light levels in a dream is very hard, and in the end only that DC matters...not the enviroment.

To create a world is not comething which should be tried if you are not experienced with lucid dreaming, i can create objects by using a television remote and press a button and the object appears, try it, you never know it might work.
