      What next?

Right well I'm not new to LDing although I've only ever achieved it once and for about 30 seconds in the dream.

What I want to know is what else must I need to become lucid? My dream recall is roughly 3-5 a night, depending how many hours I get. Unfortunately I don't know how to train my mind to look for dream signs, so any tips on that would be very helpful.

Also any general tips on how to get lucid would be helpful to so I could try.

      Cheers, Mark

First step is to keep a dream journal right by your bed. Every time you wake up as soon as you wake up right down everything about the dream you can remember. Do that for a while, but since you already have good recall you may get to the next step a little quicker. Once you are confident in recall, start doing reality checks. (There are tutorials all over the sight if you are a little unsure how to do a good one.) If you consistently do RCs in rela life it should transfer over to dream life and you should be able to initiate good DILDS.

I can't help you with the next step seeing as I'm not quite here yet but from what I can surmise next would be to try MILDS and after that DEILDS and/or WILDS.

Read every single thread that you can manage on this forum (at least in the LD sections).

Usually early lucids are pretty short. Over time, as you get used to it you will learn to curb your intial exhilaration and prevent yourself from waking up right away.
