Try flying as if youre sitting on a harley davidson, with your feet streched out in front. Then simply flick your wrist as if it was a throttle and make a vroom vroom sound!!!
It works for me anyway!!

Hehe, that's a nice method indeed! There are many solutions to how to fly, i.e you can visualize a flying broom you can use, a jet-pack or something like that. If you can't fly on your own, try to use the environment and items to help you.Quote:

Has anyone tried jumping off a tall building? Does that work? I tried that running and jumping thingie, but my dream faded away as I landed, not-flying :(

You can feel things in dreams that you havn't felt before, I have done it. BUT, I have a theory you can't see anybody in your dreams that you havn't seen in real life.
I can fly in non-lucid dreams sometimes. That's right, sometimes my mind can actually trick me into believing that I just woke up with the ability to fly, because the rest of the dream is so realistic. The most ironic thing is that sometimes I can't do it if a dream character is watching. It's like I get nervous or something.
Also: Everybody's fallen down before, and falling and flying are exactly the same, but in a different direction. Isn't that what dreams are all about?
Believe it or not, I've never had a falling dream. I've had numerous flying dreams and after asking many people which ones they have, I found that the majority of ppl have either one or the other, though a few do have both.Quote:

I have only flown by using weird objects like balloons or paper airplanes, things I know that float in real life, and hanging onto them in order to sort of hover. When I fly without any objects it's very close to the ground and I can never make myself go up. These have never been LD's until recently and the first thing I did was try to fly but just scooted around near the floor like a damn hoverboard.
Once I had a dream I was walking on the side walk and I think I realized I was dreaming some how.
I decided: I wan't to fly. So I just extended my arms in front of me and imagine a force pushing me up from under me, so I floated way up into the air. Weeeeeee. That was fun, untill I started worrying how long it would work lol.
