      Update

-i got these ideas from other boards and thought they can go here. if u wanna stay in ur dream (lucid or not) u focus on ur hand until ur back on track or if u start blackin out and ur dream has/is fading try false wakeing which wuld be opening ur dream eyes. not ur real eyes but ur dream eyes. remember that. i didnt try these yet but ill try. i only got this info today.
-also if som of u newbies dont know (well im a newbie) if u keep a dream journal it will recall ur dreams and sumtin bout it i dont know but it kinda convinces me wen im dreaming that it is a dream. so then i start luciding.
-i remember a question on this site bout how to change the scenery of a dream. thats simple and i did this last nite (only to walk into my room and plan a curfue break), all u gotta do is make a door apear and that u planned it out wat u want on the other side and just go through it.

      i will post more later.

Actually this site is full of hundreds of great tips for acheiving lucidity and staying lucid. I would just suggest that instead of creating one topic like this that people just read around at the plethora of information available here. Most of the things that work best for me in a lucid comes from stuff I've read from here like - rubbing hands together, spinning, verbal commands, etc.

I normaly talk myself into dreaming before going to sleep like ill say: I will LD or Ill be dreaming tonight and Ill realise that im dreaming I know im dreaming but I wont become Lucid at times but just go along with the dream but its more vivid and very fun but not as good as being Lucid. Lots a mind games yo!
To focus on one state of mind always.

For some reason I lost my abillity (and i was extremly good), but i hope with the help of this site i could regain it. Ne way what i always did (and it worked very well for me) was to repeat the words "I am dreaming, I am dreaming..." until i fell a sleep, then for no reason in my dream i will say "I am dreaming" and after i said that i could controll it

i think saying "i'm dreaming" works as long as you can tell when youv'e fallen asleep. last night, i did that and spent my whole dream saying it. when i woke up, i realized i had been asleep. i was so intent on having an ld that i missed my dream!

I don’t know under what this falls, but quite a while back(about 7 or 8 old) I had this dream and I was in bed I could hear everything outside any way I got up to get a glass of water, but halfway to the kitchen something grabbed my leg and pulled me through the air. I jerk straight up and awake to find it was only a dream so any way the scared child I was I decided to go to my mothers bedroom. My hart was pounding like crazy form the dream but just when I entered my parents bedroom, guess what…. Something grabbed my leg and the light went on and I was standing in my parents blood. So I woke up or so I thought I was so disturbed about the dream. The next night I dreamed the same thing except that my parents did not die. The third night I dreamed it again but this time it completely changed form a nightmare to something than can only be described as very funny, and I could control my dream. That was my first LD

if you want something to appear out of nowhere close your eyes wish it to be there than open your eyes. works for me .
