      See Sound

i do not know if there is a thread about this but i think it would be really cool if someone could tell me how i could see sound in a lucid dream

maybe take a "see sound pill"

that is all i can think of

(for me ability pills make the most since in my head and work the best for me...even if i cant see them.....lol one time i reached in my pocket, and pulled out something and i saw nothing but i took it anyway and it gave me the desiered affect...lol)

I guess watching a visualizer, like the one iTunes has could get you to 'see' sounds, and then you could duplicate it in a dream. I guess the way to make it easiest to do this would be to decide ahead of time what you think sound should look like, then you can sort of work towards how to make it appear depending on what you are expecting. If you're looking for your mind to come up with it, I guess you could ask a DC to explain it to you and show you?

Personally I'd 'view' sound like one of the audio program visualizers or like a laser show, just because I've seen quite a few of them. So I'd try to do something like go to a fireworks show, except a sound-show, where sound was visible. Or a concert. Or like when I was little, I saw an episode of the Magic School Bus where they could see sound waves. Something like that would be neat I think they put on special goggles that let them see sound. I'm thinking that'd be the way to go. Think of them like 3-d goggles, except for sound

No problem I've thought a bit about this, when I'm listening to music while I fall asleep I 'see' sound, but not to the degree that I can actually experience any sort of sound-color synesthesia, but I kind of establish a 3-d space in where the sound should be. I have spatial sequence synesthesia and I've been thinking that might be why I experience that, since most people I've asked about it say it doesn't happen to them. Recently it's made me think a lot about 'seeing' sound Definitely check out the iTunes visualizer too, that thing is freaking AWESOME.
