      Can't use Dream abilities

I have problem being able to use dreams to my advantage. The thing is, I am now able to become lucid at will but when I actually become lucid it's for a relatively short period of time and there isn't much I can do.
The only things I have been able to do were flying(really cool) and walked once through a wall.
What I want to do is actually make people appear, maybe not out of thin air yet but at least some progress.
I also would like to be able to change my environment every time I turn lucid I am always in my house, so I think all my lucids might just be OBE's.
Do I have to practice these commands while dreaming, will they eventually get better?

If anyone has any good advice I would be glad to hear it.

I can just talk from a little experience, as I had my first lucid dream just yesterday, but there are a few things that mayve helped you.

Acutally, you said that you were able to fly, at this point I agree, this was also the first thing i did.
When I became lucid, I was also near my home, i stood in the street where I live.

So first to the summoning part
I summoned a few families in my dream, by just wanting them to be behind a door, and when I opend it they just were in the room behind. That's how you could try to summon anyone, though i believe it can be more easy.

      Then to the scene thing.
That was very easy for me, actually I just stood in the street and i read before that turning yourself around 360° changes the scene around you (also a known RC).
So I just thought I want to be in the local park and started to spin myself, and at just about 180° I saw a couple of trees in front of me.

I hope I helped you and good luck next time
I'm not the signature, I'm just cleaning here.

I agree with Thorim in that using "expectation" to your advantage is usually the best way to summon things or places in dreams. Like he said, go up to a door and fully expect 100% to find what you're looking for behind that door...don't have a shred of doubt in your mind. This is harder to do than it seems (at least for me). It's not always easy to eliminate all doubt.

A little twist on this, which works well for summoning people, is to find somewhere where your vision is obscured (again, a door could work here but so could the corner of a building or part of a wall, etc), then call out "hey [NAME], you can come in now." This has been the best method I've found to summon people so far. Personally I find it much easier to summon people than to change scenes. But another way you could try to change scenes is to spin your body and fully expect to end up at your destination when you're done spinning.

it just takes practice and believing that you actually can do said thing what ever makes sense in your mind will work for you...just believe you can do it and nothing is impossible

funny enough that neo thing actually worked for me the first time I had an LD. threw my hand out like he does in the first movie and willed it to happen, it being deconstructing this monster that had risen out of the ocean.

other things that tend to work, I have difficulty flying consistently and I've found that a certain pose while trying works better than others...no idea why though.

cant really summon well, but I've used other means. like calling a bird beast to fly me somewhere I know (key word being know, like was said earlier, without a shadow of a doubt) someone to be.

really, for me random experimenting has worked wonders. just try anything! why not eh?
