      controling breath

      when you dream you usually cannot move your body cause it is paralyzed to some degree. but obviously this does not apply to your entire body, you can still breath and your heart still beats. well since sleep paralysis does not effect these necessary elements can you control them while you are sleeping? if you are hyperventilating or holding your breath in you dream does this effect your body?

      I guess to a certain degree. If your getting lucid during dreaming you are able to controll your physical eyes by looking at a direction in the dream. And when experiencing some frightning things in dream your heart can begin to race or clamp. And its is those who can controll theyr heartbeat and breath during mediation... so i would say it would be possible during dreaming to... one way or the other.
