What I do, stop moving, close eyes and focus on the body/air, that generally helps me, after that open eyes and its so much fun. |

Someone once recommended scent to me. This makes sense, since sent is one of the most evocative senses. I have not had a chance to try it (I'm just getting back into this) but I hope to. |

My most successful method is to stop what I'm doing, stare at my hands, and "will" the rest of the dream (basically everything in my peripheral vision) to come more into focus. After a couple of seconds, I'll look away from my hands, and BOOM - the entire world has solidified around me. Doing this every few minutes (when I can remember to) helps ground me into a dream, which felt like it was fading, for a much longer period of time. |
