      Question My Subconscious Mind is an Arsehole

      This is my first post here in probably two years, but I'm really trying to get back into this, so help a brother out.

      I'm doing great with the whole getting lucid thing, but I'm having serious problems with control. If my subconscious isn't being an absolute prick, I manage to spend a few seconds in the lucid, but then it just turns into an FA.

      Sometimes it's not even that. I just realise I'm dreaming, it goes dark, and then I have a FA. I know, I know. Do an RC every time you wake up to stop FAs, but what am I doing wrong/not doing to cause all these short-lived lucids? And how do you experts stabilize your lucids?

      Used some of that advice when I had a lucid this morning. I especially focused on the senses, and it worked great. Thanks!

      if you work on being a calm, happy & nice person IRL then that'll make your subconscious a lot nicer too.:] how you treat other people kinda shows how you treat yourself. not assuming anything but just going by what you've written. & meditation is really great for many things including the problem you're looking to solve. goodluck:]
