      Hmm...is this even possible???

Can you have a lucid dream and somehow by focusing on another
person bring them into the dream if they are sleeping too?
I'm just wondering.....Also would it be easier if they know nothing
      of dream control......

Heh, can't be proved there Louie... I wouldn't count on it, to be able to connect in a dreamworld, why wouldnt you see other people in it, just doesnt seem logical at all.

i like to believe anything is possible, but i think it would be easier with that person's cooperation. i think they would have to be open to it, unless your psyche is a very strong one. it's makes me think of hypnotism...you won't go under if you dont open yourself up to it.

I gotta say no, Like always though I can't scratch out the fact it is possible I believe two people being in the same dream is not possible simply because of the way dreams are constructed, so by just looking and willing it theres little chance it could happen. Though who knows what PLANES of reality you enter deep in the lucid chain..

      Yep.

When it comes to dreaming, anything is possible.

I find dream sharing to be one of the most difficult things ever.

hmm i dunno im abit sceptic about this , cause i mean for someone else to be in your lucid dream with both of u lucid and aware wats going on , its almost liked youd have to be networked sorta type thing if u know wat i mean. i just dont see how u can both be in the same lucid dream considering the surrondings around u are wat your imagination/brain is making u see. so i mean how could that person see the same surroundings?

id like to hear a LD veterans thought on this if possible

      Mutual Dreaming

      Hey guys,

I did a Mutual Dreaming (shared dreaming) experiment with my uncle that lasted about a month. When we recorded our dreams and compared and contrasted, we found that the dreams that I saw him in and the dreams he saw me in were very simular. Especially on this one dream where I was telling him about my dream in a dream and he told me the next day about the dream I told him in the dream, which were about 95% identical. Also I remember being conscious and telling him he was dreaming, the next day he reported that something was trying to grab him and tell him he was dreaming. I remember grabbing his arm in that dream. He also recalled a brightness, and I remember that the sun rise was behind us when I told him.

On another experiment, I tried it with a friend of mind. It was more spontanious. He lives far away (me in calif. and him in tex.) Everytime he was trying to call or email me on any one day, I dreamed of him trying to e-mail me or call me in the dream. It turned out everytime I did get to talk to him, I told him my dreams and he said that he was trying to call or e-mail me that day, but was too busy etc. They all fit on the exact dates...

Not saying that this is true and you can do it, but in my experience is sure as hell seems like it. I'm still skeptical, but it sure looks possible.

      -Daniel [/b]
The human mind has far greater potential than society has conditioned you to believe.

I think perhaps when we dream we may unlock some parts of our brain that restrict us
and do things by habit (from when we were babies). This unlocking may result in our
brains being connected not a spiritual plane (it may be viewed that way) but rather much
like wireless laptops. If you think about it our brains are MUCH better at storing information,
etc. than laptops, so it's not too unbelieveable that they could become connected. Perhaps
when we dream, the people we come in contact with are ALL real people. But we see it in
our own views. This might also explain why we sometimes have control in our dreams and
we sometimes don't even if we are lucid. There may be someone with better dream control
around you keeping things the same(they dont have to be lucid). A reason why we haven't
talked(like a meeting) may be that even though we are speaking regular words in our dream
it may come out as something completely different in the other persons dream, making it
seem as though they are entirely different dreams. Not to mention we have dreams where
we aren't even ourselves......I mean if I think I'm picasso in my dream and I am visibly shown
that way to people passing how many would know it's me???

I have recently thought these ideas and I want to know what you all think about them...

      Not really.

Only speak for yourself. Once dreaming is mastered, anything is possible.

hmm.... from a scientific point of view, no. dreams are just randomly generated by your brain while you sleep.

i think it can happen because it HAS happend to me.

      believe wichever one you want.

Weird instance between me and my brother. I would never have believed this possible like many of you, but his descriptions were so much alike to what I had dreamed...

cant believe it till i see concrete evidence

dreams arent from some machine(dreams arent a matrix type of thing) that people can connect to

      they are from ones brain

if it even had a chance which i wont rule out the person would have to be able to subconciously tap into someones brain feed to have that same dream

i think many experiences that people have where they think its the real thing is just an unlikely coincidence
