Every time I try to get LD's I always sabotage myself.
I'll go to sleep convincing myself of what will happen. I'll meet up with my best friend and we'll go ride a dragon or whatever.
Then as I'm waiting for sleep, the "what if" starts to take over.
"What if I see something else?"
"What if I start having a nightmare?"
Then, I'll start to imagine all the terrible dream sequences I could have instead of flying on a dragon with my friend.
Like I just read that while WILDing you may have hallucinations. I start thinking of peaceful hallucinations, and then I start thinking of bad ones.
How can I get past this self-sabotage?
