Making dreams recur. Possible?

First of all I want to apologize if this has already been asked. I`m new here and tried browsing to search for a similar thread but failed to find one. Sorry if i`m repeating a question.
The question is posed at the advance lucid dreamers, who can already control most of their dreams.
Let's say you get attached to a particular dream character. Your long lost dog, your first love, a dead relative, movie star etc.
Can you actually make them appear in other dreams, at your will?
Has anyone tried this?
I`m very interested in finding out, since I`d have a small army following me if I could manage that :D In particular the lady you see in my avatar.

I am definitly not a advanced Lucid Dreamer....

But yes you can. I once just tried to make someone appeared and someone appeared. But maybe it was just part of the dream? ANyways, perharps I have never had the chance to control a LD but I know lots of people do. They 'summon' the person they want to see and this person appears or you could 'know' that that someone is behind a wall and when you go to see the person, he/she'll be there....

I guess someone more advanced should still share their experiences... :)

Yes, it's possible. You've just got to take a creative approach to it, finding a way to truly expect the person to be there. See a door, knock on it, and expect them to open it. Walk around a corner calling their name and asking them to wait for you. Stuff like that.

Thank you for the replies. I am a bit away from that goal - but you confirmed it's possible which makes lucid dreaming even more appealing ( if that`s possible).
Oh , by the way Shift - congratulations on the 81 LDs. Impressive :)

Haha, thank you! Trust me... they were long overdue. Thank god I found DV because I was making no progress on my own before I did :shock:

For me if I want someone to appear well I just list them and give a reason for why I want them/want them to do E.g. I want Clare here to clean my shoes, although generally I have to say 'I wish' if i want something to happen. I've never tried to bring characters I've not met in real life, just cos I have to say a name. Sometimes though It'll go wrong and I'll have to say no, not that one, then have to say their last name, kind of annoying. But I can create my own character too, I'll say I want them to have this quality, for example. I'd like a man with black hair, big muscles and whatever. (Then again I am always changing my own appearance as well, which doesn't work cos if I have big muscles, my arms get sore, if ask for a big umm thingy then it'll come but will probs be thin and will probably fall off lol :P)

If you give the attention, or energy to any character or creation, you will feed their substance and give your newly conjured creation substance in your dreaming.

Ignore them & they will dissipate.

But I have found that creating them is easier then dispelling them.
It sometimes takes longer to dispel

Having someone appear at will - yes
as it is believed that as we think, so we create.

Works like a charm for me. The technique I use is to simply tell (not ask) a dream character, any DC to either take me TO who I'm looking for or send the person to me. I'm amazed at how 9 times out of 10 a random dream character not only knows who I'm talking about but does my bidding.
I've even picked up a phone and gotten a dream operator to connect me to whoever I'm looking for.
I guess this is all so easy for me because I don't have to worry about HOW it all takes place I simply leave it up to the dream characters to make it happen.

Good new idea you presented too Shift. I've never tried doing it on my own but I'll give it a whirl. Take out the middle man (middle dc).

That's exactly what I do-TELL DC's to find said person! A lot of times they come back and say they can't find them, but then I say "what! They're around here somewhere! Go look again!" Or find another DC to do it.
And yes, it's easier to just get the DC's to find them-if you think about it, you know what the person looks like and acts like, you just can't very easily make them appear out of thin air, so it's easier for your subconscious to make up a scenario where the person would be.

Whew I'm glad it's not just me that can do this and yes you're right. Sometimes a DC will come back saying they can't find who I told them to find. I never thought about sending them back to try again. I'll try that next time it happens. Make those DC's earn their keep. It's still strange how 100% of the time any random DC that I walk up to at least KNOWS who I'm asking them to fetch.
