      Stuck In My House

Since I came to this website about two weeks ago, I've tried a WILD three times with success. The problem is that I always start off in my room. I try to change the setting, but can't find myself able to. Yesterday I went outside and tried to fly away, but couldn't. I tried driving away with my car, but the car wouldn't turn on! Any suggestions or tips on how to gain control of my LD would be greatly appreciated.

Every WILD I've had started in my room.

Make sure your dream is stable enough (touch walls, etc) to start moving around and trying to fly and such. You'll know it's stable once it feels like RL.

Make sure you're not expecting to fail, KNOW you can do it.

Had you other LDs (not WILDs)? If yes, were you able to fly? Have you tried to walk away from your house by foot?

Before you do anything in these dreams, take a moment to just stop, look around, touch things and go WOW, this is ALL in my head, this is nothing but a dream... Just keep building up this awareness and knowledge, it should help give you the confidence that anything you want should happen simply because you think it should, since it's only a dream. Try to open doors expecting them to lead elsewhere. Take shortcuts. Walk through a mirror, climb out the window. Open the blinds expecting something cool on the outside. Maybe even crawl under the bed through a tunnel to somewhere else. Just work on being confident and coming up with creative ways to get out.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've never been able to fly in my other LDs that weren't WILDs. There was one LD that wasn't a WILD were I jumped off a cliff to try to fly, but everything just went black and I woke up. I did try walking away from my house by foot, but I woke up. I'll try another WILD tonight and take it slowlym. I'll go in with the mentality that I can get out of my neighberhood. It's all in my head. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
