I don't know if it's relevant, but when I do my spinning I keep my head down and look toward my feet. I let my eyes take in the ground beneath me and I concentrate on the room I'm in. I stop after 2-3 full revolutions. Thus far I haven't messed anything up by spinning, and it has proven to be far more effective than hand rubbing, verbalizing, et alia.

As with everything else in LDing, YMMV. I think, however, that being able to concentrate on the ground beneath my feet may help me retain the current dream.

Pull your eyes out of your head and look at yourself. When I look at my hands and have too many fingers I like to pull them off my hand and they change into chocolate sticks and I eat them. This seems to help.

haha pills work all sorts of wonders in lucid dreams but i would only recommend them once you've stabilized the dream. Taking pills is a total trip into your unconscious, who knows what the pills will cause you to experience, it's all in your own subconscious expectations. But seriously drugs, whilst dreaming, may or may not blow your ever lovin' mind.

Can't hurt experimenting. I mean if the worst that can happen is the scene changes then no problem.

Hi, I've had LD's for 3 days in a row now ( wich is odd because I'm still nobish)
The thing that works best for me is looking at my hands and rubbing them together. I also tried the shouting clarity technique but the dream scenario did not change in detail but it become all white instead.

I've also noticed that almost all the ld's I've had so far have been achieved by using the WBTB or DEILD technique, this is why I dont have much extra time to sleep. So I'm wondering how does Real time affects time continuum in the dream world? Does it really matters if I sleep 10 mins or an hour in the dream world? If so, how can I get more REM sleep?

heres another one, take the time to look around. slow down, check out your surroundings, take a breather. Whenever i rush i feel i have the risk of over-exiting myself which usually wakes me up (not good)

don't run. in fact, don't do anything too repetitive because the brain will begin to wander and think about something else - sometimes you might lose lucidity. well thats what happened to me, i started running and i lost it.

      uhh...
