Thread: how to stablilize the dream! (help)

I can't remember who wrote the tutorial, but the one thats worked best for me is where as soon as you become lucid you look at your hands and focus on the detail of them, turning them over etc while analysing them. Do this for a good 5 seconds before you continue in your lucid, works well for me. Have to obviously visualise or practice yourself doing this so it becomes second nature when you get lucidity.

Lost the lucid dream... What exactly do you mean by that? Did you wake up, or forget you were dreaming?

Before I get an answer, the only comment I can make is that dream sex often distracts, or excites to the point of waking. Take it slow.

Sounds like you just moved too fast, mate. Walk before you run. Do some simple dream stuff first if the dream might not be stable.

i lost it as in the dream faded, but others times i forgot i was dreaming and lost the lucid part of the whole thing. arby i think your right i need to walk around in the dream for a minute or so, last time i did that i had my longest dream 9 minutes. it aways seems when you do something great like fly or sex the dream ends quicker, sex i can understand but flying? is it because im excited? theres got to be a way around that

You need to do something physically involving or intense. Running is better than walking. Flying may just be too intense. I have the same problem, whenever I fly in a lucid, I usually get carried away doing only that until I lose my lucidity. It's just so much fun, I forget about being lucid. I think not being lucid might make flying easier as well, so that could have something to do with it.

To me a good lucid means not being too involved in the plot, since it's not real or important. If you're only doing one thing like flying or having sex, it's only a matter of time before it starts to become real to you in the dream.
