Dcs preventing lucidity
How can you stop letting dcs stop you from becoming lucid? Sometimes when i realize i'm dreaming, and i talk to a dc, they'll say something that'll stop me from doing what i want to do in a dream. Then i lose lucidity. How can i stop letting what dcs say to me, affect me?

I had a lucid dream where I saw my siblings and another guy. I was like: "Hey, this is a dream! We can do whatever we want!", but they denied it and kept on going, I then flew away, because I knew they were DC's.
That was one good lucid in a long time :P
My point is that you shouldn't listen to DC's. Evaluate everything they say before you accept it, and constantly keep in mind: This is a dream, they are DC's, I'm the boss.
That should help you ;)

in a childhood dream, long before I had my first lucid, a rude DC came to my house and started throwing insults at me. I asked "is this a dream?", he said "no what are you stupid? of course not!'.

I was lucid last night, and I tried to tell a friend of mine that she was in my dream. After she laughed in my face :shakehead: I began to lose consciousness. Luckily, I caught sight of my hands and noticed how distorted they look, where I regained control of the dream.
Either ignore the dream characters, or use something to constantly remind you that you're dreaming(reality checks, dream guide, etc.)

Punch those DCs in the face!!! DCs are almost always useless, so show them know mercy, and try to ignore them completely.

It's more fun than it looks...
