I can think of two viable ways, off the top of my head:

You could get lucid, set up the dream, and then lose lucidity. That is, make the dream the same as it was near the end of the other dream (try walking through a door to the other dream), get into a similar mindset, and 'let go' of your awareness by absorbing yourself in the story. Might be difficult, depending on your skill, but I guess it would be pretty accurate if you did it right.

Dream incubation. Pedro's VILD guide has a good bit about dream incubation, so you could do that, but with the last moments of the dream you want to replicate, instead of a scenario engineered to get you to RC. With luck, you might get a dream that is at least similar.

Even if you manage to replicate and continue the dream, there is no guarantee that you will remember it, of course.

The question is: do u want to be lucid or not
if lucid: then become lucid and set up the dream
if not:then take lucid steps, but get lost in the dream. Shouldn't be too hard.
"Of course my life isn't a nightmare! At least you can become lucid in a nightmare."
