Well, if spinning don't work (for waking up) try just to focus on one thing, feeling, some sound, something in the dream, that should help with the waking up to some extent. Or so says my experience. |

I read somewhere, that in order to change dream scenes or to stop yourself from waking up, you should spin around. I am, I'd say, an intermediate LD, but I still can't do this. Whenever I start to think about doing it because it feels like I am going to wake up, I just wake up. Can anyone help me??? |

To change the scenes just find a door, imagine an object or scenes behind the door then open the door. |

close eyes imagine a different place then open them. or imagine a different place with eyes open then both the old scene and the new scene morph together which is fun. or imagine a place and then walk around a corner. |

Turning around, opening doors, teleporting. These all are good ideas to change dream scenes. |

Bollocks.
try closing your eyes. While they are closed, imagine the place you want to be. Let's say the beach; Try to imagine what the warm sun feels like on your body. Try to image what the sand feels like between your toes. Try to imagine the sensation of a breeze and the smell of the ocean. Finally start to see the imagine. Now tell yourself "when i open my eyes I will be at the beach". Now open your eyes and you WILL be there. So much of this technique depends on you believing it will happen. If you think it will, it will. If you think it won't it won't. Good Luck. |

Teleport: Close eyes, imagine scene, either the scene will form in front of you, or when you open your eyes it will be there. |

I've always imagined closing my eyes, then 'waking up' to a new dream scene. :] |

One thing I didn't see mentioned was rubbing your hands together. |
