      Having trouble

Whenever I induce a lucid dream, they start in little bursts.
When I become lucid I am usually dreaming for what feels like usually 3-4 minutes. After I wake up, I close my eyes and fall into another lucid dream. This happens usually 5-6 times in a row. Its hard to maintain one long dream.

I cant seem to control my surroundings tho. For example, I want someone/something to appear. I try to imagine them infront of me, and start spinning in circles. It dosnt seem to work. Also, I try expecting them to be right around the corner.

      Dosnt work.

It is no more vivid than my imagination in waking life.

What technique have you been using? Perhaps you should try another one. I've heard that WILD's tend to give you longer lucids than other induction techniques.

Try not to do much in your next lucids, as in exerting so much energy(attempting to summon people). You might be getting to excited.

If you are an inexperienced lucid dreamer, I wouldn't worry. Beginners' lucids usually don't last very long.
