feel the dream , stop thinking about the real life |
|
Last night i had a lucid but when it was getting interesting, my dream eyes closed shut because i could feel them in real life. And that sleep was making my eyes close and stick, then i tried rubbing my hands which prolonged the dream for a few more seconds but my eyes wouldn't open and the dream ended. I guess my question is how do you stop your eyes from closing in dreams? And how do you open them? |

if this is happening a lot maybe you are getting too much sleep? I find it tends to occur during the 8+ hours of sleep for me. If this isn't the time it's happening for you, maybe its a confidence issue? It'll help if you had more details |

If this happens, try to remember that you aren't SEEING with actual eyes, and that even if your dream eyes ARE shut there's no reason NOT to still be able to see. Try something like pausing what you're doing, feeling as many sensations in the dream as you can to keep it stable, and imagining the feeling of your palms pressed against your eyes. Telling yourself you're lucid, slowly draw your hands away from your eyes so that you can see what they were covering up. Really spend time thinking, "What's behind my eyes?" Try to think of it like a game of hide-and-seek where you'd be covering your eyes. Try to find some other tricks like this that would explain something besides your eyelids covering your eyes that could easily be removed. Don't try to force your eyelids open, sometimes this just wakes people up. |
