In lucid or not? |

i've noticed that the brightness level in my dreams is almost always the same amount (similar to outside on a rainy day). i've also read in a bunch of places that its impossible to change brightness in a dream. why is that? is it something to do with the way our brains are wired? has anyone ever gotten a light switch to actually work in a dream? |

It seems pretty random whether or not lightbulbs work for me in dreams or not. Often I have to find other methods for making it lighter, such as forcing the sun to rise. (I usually do this by pointing my finger at the horizon; The sun will follow the motions of my finger, and I can place it anywhere in the sky that I wish.) |

Yeah, I've used a light switch. |

These things work for me most of the times, I still wonder why it doesn't for others though <.< |

I have also noticed that the light level of a room seems to be a pivotal aspect in my dreams. I often find that if I go into a darker room or area then my dream is more likely to end quicker, but if I can go someplace where it is lighter than my dream might last longer. |

The long worn out traveler was just now crossing the invisible film of clarity.
He found instantly that the lights were brighter and the grass really was greener.
