Now that my lucid rate is back up to normal, I wanted to start working on the task of the year. I was wondering what techniques work BEST for you when changing a scene.

Spinning works best for me... Then again it's the only way I have tried so far =P
There's a heck of alot of methods. Spinning is one. Opening doors is another. Here...

So far I have only used the spinning technique.
But it only has worked the once, I also like to know some better ways of doing this.
I just kind of change my view, and look over expecting to be in my desired location. This works well, as well as the traditional door trick :)
i think going through a door and expecting what's on the other side is the easiest. or walk through a wall.
Closing my dream eyes creates a break in the dream, which allows me to will major changes that begin when I reopen them. Change of scene, teleportation, deleting characters, and so on. Though even without willing any changes. just the act of closing and reopening my dream eyes will make random changes.
Teleporting has really been the only consistent way I've been able to change the dream scene. Closing my eyes to do it usually screws me up though. It's definitely something I still need to work on.
Or just adopt a RADA English accent and say, "Enterprise, one to beam directly to *wherever you want to go.* Energize."
ah i've seen a thread like this back in the day... but anyways I have always wanted to use a mirror to go to a different dimension. that or to have something sharp (such as sword) and cut a rift in reality and go to a parallel universe or wherever I feel like going to at that point in time.
Yeah, and depending on how logical you are/need to be, there are other things you could do. For instance, one time I went into the bathroom expecting the scene to change, and it didn't. I looked under the door and saw there was light (I entered the bathroom from a dark room). I turned on the light so it would be the same level as the light on the outside, and opened the door. Worked like a charm. Hope that makes sense.
P.S. 800th post! yes.
you could always try something like . Imagine where that would take you!
To me, this is the most fun part of dream control. Just finding random inspiration for the infinite ways of doing something. :boogie:
