      Unable to speak

During my last two WILDs (one this morning and one two morning ago) I've tried to speak and shout but no sound comes out. Dream characters react to it but no sound. Well, at best I can hear a slight whisper as if my voice is being blocked by something.

      Any tips?

      Thanks!

Hey, Denny. Yeah, I've had this happen more than once. The more I think about and try and remove the sound blocker, the worse it becomes. For me, the best thing to realize is that 'there is no spoon.' You have no vocal chords. You are making no sounds. You have no arms or legs. You just as easily may ahve tentacles, since they don't exist. From there, you realize that everything is purely based on your perception. So, just speak as if you are going to percieve sound. Don't think about talking. Just talk. You don't think about walking. You just do. And you expect to percieve your foot hitting the ground on the next step.

      Hope that helped.

It happened to me too, and unlike spockman, I forced myself to talk. When I could hear my voice a bit I started shouting and my voice got louder and louder.

And if you can't get your voice to work, you could always use telepathy. It is a dream, after all.

Sound is always odd in my dreams. Seem like half sound and half telepathy.

Guess that mainly because it in my head. I mostly a thinker then a talker anyway.
Noticed things in my lucid dreams: Not scare of death (kinda forgotten Freddy special power of killing in dreams, opps?) Huge ego which cause me to summon monsters, most DC are useless and don't even speak.
