A solution someone stumbled upon a while ago was running on all fours.
Ya, had my first lucid in a while the other night. I just looked at my hands and made them turn into dog's legs.
Then I could run.
Was pretty funny, coz another dog came up behind me and wanted to sniff me, but I wasn't sure of the process, and I was very nervous.
You don't actually need to walk to move around in dreams. It's just a bad habit from the waking world. If you're having trouble walking, don't walk! There are plenty of other options available.
Flying works perfectly fine for me. Even more so if I'm being chased...give it a go!
