      Help would be appreciated :)

Last night I was having an awesome dream (I wasn't lucid or anything) then suddenly it got really nasty and I was attacked and almost drowned by two boys. So I ran away and as I was running something clicked and I realized that I was dreaming. This has only happened once before, so I was pretty excited but I didn't wake up straight away.

Everything around me was red and blue, and the sun was shining really strongly. I was pretty much dumbstruck so I didn't try to do much but it felt sort of... I don't know, like I was on the very edge of the dream. Does that make sense? As if I was still awake but in the dream too. I know that's kinda the whole point of lucid dreaming, to remain concious while your body is asleep, but this felt weird.

My eyes were open in the dream, and I tried blinking a couple of times knowing I was so close to waking up in real life. Then I did actually wake up. But the whole time it felt kinda... flimsy, if you understand. Like it could break at any moment. Which it did.

This happened the one time I became lucid before too. I don't know what to do, why do I keep waking up? And is it normal to be super aware of what's going on? Like even my body moving?

Greetings, welcome to Dream Views. Yeah, i know what you're talking about. One time I almost woke up in the middle of a lucid dream and i could feel my body, its not uncommon. As for preventing yourself from waking up you probably need to stabilize the dream. Here is a very detailed post on dream stabilization. http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=70131
