      my opinion on how to practice your lucid dreaming

      i believe that you need to be going through certain stuff in life in order to have lucid dreams. it enhances your thoughts to where when you dream its more intense. because of everything i have been through i have a lucid dreaming almost every night

      agree ? disagree? opinion?

      It is too vague. What exactly one should go through to have lucid dreams?

      That's pretty damn vague, but I can see where you're coming from
      and I disagree

      there are accounts all over the site about people with countless different nuances on how to get lucid. It's a personal thing, and lucid dreaming works differently for everyone. Don't think that just because something works for you, it will work for everyone else, and vice versa.

      People can LD under many different conditions, circumstances shouldn't be an argument here.

      I would like to discuss what is going on here, but the lack of anything even resembling grammar, or complete ideas, is making it difficult for me to decipher any meaning from these posts.

      Could I get a translator in here, please?

      Is it just me,
      Or has the original poster not actually said anything?
      Just like a vague statement that could mean anything at all.

      You have to be going through "certain stuff"?
      What is this certain stuff???

      And what is this certain stuff you've been through that allows you to lucid dream every night???

      Please, I'm sure we'd all love to know more,
      but it's hard to have a discussion if you wont go into more detail

      sorry i dont have a very big vocabulary. but when i say stuff i mean dramatic stuff such as neglect , un loved, dead family members , fending for yourself at times when someone else should take care of you. expeirencing drugs at what state of mind they put you in. you dream alot more when you wish that you had a different life . thats what i mean. like i said it just works for me and maby some people can relate to it. but maybe not

      So your saying during bad times people can have lucids dreams more often?
      Whenever your thinking, just remember thoughts become things.
      Current goals:
      -Drive a Ferrari 458 { }
      -Go to a different plant { }
      -Street race with different cars { }

      For some, bad times cause stress, which hinders Lucid Dreaming. So I also don't agree. Deaths are traumatic, more so for some than others. Being unloved, to me, is a form of neglect and is a horrifying thing that can be stressful to the mind. It all varies of course, but a lot of members here say stress is Lucid Dreaming's kryptonite.

      i guess i could agree with that and everyone is different . . .i just think that when those things are going on in your life you dream deeper because you are in deep thought about those things all the time. that is where i was coming from.

      Umm, I think that the only things required to be able to Lucid Dream are:
      1) Have a brain
      2) Have a desire
      3) Work at it
      I can say that I've never been neglected/unloved, that I've never had to "fend for myself" when someone else was supposed to take care of me, I've never done drugs, or really wished I had a different life, because I take things as they come and try to stay satisfied...I have had family members die, but I think that people continue on in their consciousness (or spirit/soul or whatever you want to call it), so I kind of think of it as, they're taking an extended vacation. Nothing super traumatizing for me, and I used to be a natural Lucid Dreamer when I was little...and I have LD's now (despite my wicked dry spell )

      And I spend much of my time in, what I would consider, deep thought, thinking about moral issues, things going on in my life, and the world, but even at times of my life when I didn't have these things happening, (I refer you back to my childhood when I was a natural LDer) I still can have vivid dreams.

      So I'd have to disagree, respectfully

      Well, if it's depression you're talking about, then yeah, you'll have more chances to have LDs. Otherwise, no, simply having a less than desirable life isn't going to affect things any more or less.

      How does depression help with Lucid Dreaming?

      Now hold on, just how are we being dicks about it? We are discussing. Sharing opinions, asking questions. And how are we making fun of what works for you?

      The "certain stuff" is right here on this site. And it seems to be very effective for
