Ok. I've been trying unsuccessfully for several nights and I think it was because of this.

I guess meeting one's subconscious can be interesting. When I did it was kind of cool.

But it's worth remembering that dreaming is subconscious. All you can really meet is how your subconscious thinks the subconscious should be personified. It isn't as dangerous as you make out. Besides, the subconsciousness' interests wouldn't be met by taking over the role of the consciousness. The two things are separate for a reason.

Still, your fear is valid and I can see where you are coming from. I don't think you are delusional to worry at all.

The subconcious is the dream so you will never meet the subconcious because your in it. What you may see is a manifestation of what the subconcious projects into the dream because of your 'request' to meet the subconcious so you may see a dream character that you think is the subconcious but you are just seeing what you want to see in the dream. It's the same with lucid dream control.....you 'instruct' the subconcious to dream out what you want while in the dream. It's not the concious mind dreaming what you want it's the subconcious.
