i think i went lucid twice last night...

ok so i dont really remember much before this but all i remember is being in a grocery shop and saying.. HEEY! im dreaming!... am i dreaming? YEAH i think im dreaming... then i started to rub my hands together to "ground" myself in the dream. but im not sure if it was a fake lucid because, although things got a little more clear, i couldn't control my surroundings. i tried to close my eyes and say "ok, im in my room" but nothing happened, everything just went hazy and blurry, luckily i rubbed my hands together again to ground.. so i went to the next best thing, there was a chick i knew in one of the isles and i decided to makeout with her, trying to lucid sex for the first time, but all i managed to do was feel her tongue then i woke up.. i was like.. crap!

then somehow i managed to go back in the same spot and grounded myself again, but this time there was another chick i liked but all i managed to get was a hug... then i woke up

after that i tried to go back to sleep and i did, but there were different dreams that i cant remember anymore..

i still cant figure out if that was a lucid or a fake lucid cus things weren't as clear as they could have been and i couldn't control my surroundings or anything else..

as I said to another people, read this:

so, if you weren't lucid, it's normal, it's part of the proccess. it has happened to me a lot.
watch when you write. you say, I think....
      there is doubt.
when you have a lucid dream, I can assure it's impossible to have doubt just think.
yesterday, I was in a dream, I wasn't lucid, but I started to rub my hands and yell clarity to increase the vividness, it didn't work, and when I rubbed my hands I could hear a sound, like a low battery. but I wasn't lucid, you see?

      bye!<

If you knew it was a dream then you were lucid. Having control of the dream is another business.

You can be lucid without knowing you can control the dream (you may go the next day to a friend and say something like "last night I dreamed -insert dream here- but the funny thing is I knew I was dreaming, it was so weird"). My first lucid dreams were like this until I had a nightmare where a giant black dog was going to eat me in a cave, I thought "this gotta be a dream!. wait a minute, it is a dream!" and wished for the dog to turn into a hamburger and it happened, haha.

It is also possible to control a dream without realizing you're dreaming (then you'd say something like "last night I had the coolest dream, I could fly and do whatever I wanted and change things at will, so awesome!" and then never have a dream like that again just because in regular dreams you dont usually realize things can be controlled at will.

It is the ability of inducing lucidity plus the knowledge that dreams can be controlled what equals great fun and pleasant dreams.
