Thread: anyone here often skateboard in their LDs?

It's one of my goals.
But I suck at skating in real life lol, so don't even ask about that!

That could be fun. One problem I would guess may happen is the environment get blurry when you go fast, then when you slow down again the enivronment has changed totally. How do you counteract that, if I may ask?

Hey that sounds fun! I would never go on a skateboard in real life, but in a LD, it could be fun.

Skateboarding is really hard. I can stand on one... if I'm holding onto something. =P

Trying to skateboard in a LD could be fun though.

For me it's rollerblading. I use to be really pro at it going to skate parks and schools to grind rails. One time I came first in a vert competition on a 12 foot half-pipe. I often have dreams where I'm rollerblading and I can pull off any trick imaginable first time everytime and it's really fun. Going through busy shopping malls down stairs and rails is the best!

Once I had a dream where I was rollerblading. It was pretty sweet. It was exactly like ice skating (bumpier though), so I stopped by turning sideways and shaved off the top of the pavement. =D

Falling feels so much nicer in LD's, that's why I regularly rollerblad/skate in there =D

yes, i also enjoy skating in lucid dreams. its very satisfying. but it also seems to help my skating in the physical world too. helps to get a feeling for a certain trick.

this is bc skating in either world has the same basic rule: land the trick in your mind and you can do it. the dream world is cool bc it will respond exactly to what you think. while in the physical world you have to keep trying in order to develop the fine motor control. plus falling hurts more.

nonetheless, im still scared of blunt slides in both worlds. i just dont get them. they are beyond my imagination so far...
