How to control your dream body?

Hey guys, I don't know how to do this but maybe you can help a guy out. In my dreams I have had dreams about having a hard time controlling my body in the dream. It's like watching your self in a movie. It's hard for me to control my body in my dream like how I control my physical body in my waking life. Is this even possible to accomplish? I have no control over my body. Its like watching a free movie when your dreaming. I have no physical control. Is this even possible? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

you are just in non-lucid dream, or even some lucid dreams you cant control, u just realize you are dreaming.
If you have a lucid dream and have complete control then walking and moving will feel natural.
if you are just dreaming, you cant control anything

When I first got into lucid dreaming I would have a really hard time controlling my dream body initially.

It would be like my feet were planted to the floor and I couldn't move at all. What really worked for me was instead of trying to move my body, I'd try to move or spin the place I was in around and around until my body was freed from the place I was standing in.

Basically, try thinking outside the box. Instead of thinking about just controlling your dream body, try to manipulate the area you're in so that it will free up whatever is stopping you from having full control. Worked for me.

Try to engage with your surroundings, and imagine familiar feelings. Don't focus on your body, focus on how it is interacting with the world around you. Do you feel the ground beneath your feet? Do you feel the weight of gravity pulling your arms down? Do you feel the breeze on your face?

I wonder, do you wake up if you close your eyes? If not, closing them and then starting to move your body could work, then open them and continue with whatever it is you were doing, or control your body like a puppet!
