I wondered whether it would be a good idea to just make up a storyline for the next time when I have a LD. I could make all my goals and things I think would be fun into one storyline and "live" that storyline in the next LD I have
Is it possible?

If you have your intent on it thoughout the day it could be possible but it might not be EXACTLY right though. There's also no guarentee you'll remember it, that would just be 1 out of 7 dreams you might remember. If you are planning to start the storyline when you become lucid, try to go through a door will focusing on the intent of the storyline and scenery, i've done that before, that one is easily possible.
Well, good luck ruba
EDIT: sorry I didn't read it right, but you could make the storyline WHILE you are lucid like I said. Use intent to continue you last LD or you can just make it go on from there while in the dream.
Again, good luck ruba
Yes you can. Its a form of passive control called "Steering". All you have to do is will for this this and that to happen.. and it will :)
Thanks, that'll help me with lots of things :)
I've created storylines for roughly eighty percent of my LDs, mainly WILDS (because DILDs are too spontaneous for me).
You should have adequate time in your dream, because for some reason some people's dreams tend to throw stuff in to stop them from continuing on. For instance, I was going to complete one of my dream goals, and I had to get to a certain place. There was a mother and daughter that popped up out of nowhere and asked me to take their picture. I sort of maintain my politeness in dreams, which sucked because I wasted my dream trying to fix the camera settings and stuff. -.-' I recommend WILDs, but if you can remember your goal well in a simple DILD, then go for it. I'd also refrain from talking to non-relevant DCs in your storyline, as they'll hinder the progress in your dream.
I also suggest having good control over DCs before starting a plotline. For example, if you are going to have a part where you're at gunpoint by a DC and escape, you'd better make sure the DC won't get a mind of its own and shoot you. :cheeky:
Another thing is pretty much basic dream control - have the ability to 'know' what your surroundings and dream characters are going to do and what they're like.
Thanks :) I agree that it's easier to remember things that you want to do in a WILD, I recently had one :)
Mostly, DCs will do what I expect them to.
I was going to mention this, but I see you already have. Often, MANY unexpected things do happen in LD's. SO many random things happen, especially if there are DC's around. So, acheiving this ability to go through a plot may be easier in a place with minimal to no DC's. Though, I think it would be VERY VERY difficult to go by a set plot in your dreams. I usually don't even remember to do simple goals, so you'd have to be able to be VERY aware, and be VERY lucid to be able to do this! You need your full mind for this to work.
