Best way to travel distances during an LD

So teleporting has been my best result but it sparatically doesnt work so well. Wondering if theres a method of control i could use to get a hold on it.

Whats your most effective form of traveling a distance of at least a mile or two once you've already become lucid. can be accross town or to a different galaxy as long as its quick enough to not interfere with maintaining lucidity.

Well I haven't done this a lot, but a couple of times I walked through a mirror (a big one in my room) to get somewhere else. I think this would work for anything if you had an idea in mind and just went through a mirror or a door to another place on the other side. Hope this helps.

For me, it's teleportation, far better than anything else to travel.

Scene changes work for me. Either creating portals, or closing my eyes and picturing a new scene. Sometimes I'll phase through walls and the scene changes.

Open "doors" through dimensions, the idea is to use "organic" material to open the doors, go through them, and done.

The best way i found is going through doors. I become lucid mainly in my house and was having trouble going anyway else. Then i went through a door and found myself in my childhood home. I then realised this could work for going anyway. If you epect to go through a CLOSED door to the next room then you will, but if you expect to go through the door to somewhere else you will. Just thinking to youself that your work place or whatever is behind the door works if you believe it is.

I teleport through mirrors. I just walk to a mirror, which I know where one is, near, since it is a LD after all .
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Easy Way: Go through a door, picturing the other side

Awesome Way: Slash a rift in space and dive into it

Sometimes I think I dont have much of an imagination. As I read these forums I see lots of good ideas. I travel by flying. I go up very high and then dive down.

i say fly faster and faster until everything blurs into strips of color while thinking about where you'rre going then stop.

Long Range TPs work for me sometimes. So do portals. But if I'm only going a mile, then flying is just fine.

"Organic" material, Walms? What does that mean, exactly.

And, eh, my travel experiences are sporadic at best. I'm working on portals next.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

I did this the other day by accident. I was half lucid, so I was half playing along with the dream. I was a time traveller and I pretended to faint and closed my eyes to emulate going back to my normal time. And it fully worked! Except I was alittle confused cause I thought I had just woken up, but I quickly got over that and carried on.

Nice...a lot of people say they end up waking up early when they try it.
