Well if you became lucid then what i would do is find the nearest closed door and then believe that afganistan was on the other side. Then once you got there, look behind a corner believing there is an armory and then grab some guns. go find some terrorists!
Of course you could also used autosuggestion and MILD to just cut out the trouble of teleporting
But find whatever works for you.
And remember, morals dont really apply in dreams. Its all in your head and you have the freedom to think whatever you want. dreams are just amplified thoughts
Good luck!
Edit: heres the MILD tutorial CLICK THIS.
Teleportation to make it to afghanistan, of course.
And don't know if its a good idea, but if you want to do it, go ahead! Your dream after all.
cool how would i make myself believe that there is afghanistan thru a door :P
Paint "Afghanistan" on the door before you step through...
Actually if you just BELIEVE it will open onto Afghanistan then it will... unless you don't truly believe it. Dreams are all about belief and expectation.
the OP of this thread is a quite interesting person.
To the OP: I've done it once, and it wasn't anything greatly special - it was interesting, but didn't feel magical or anything. That's how it was for me though, others have said they've had bad experiences with killing others. Give it a shot and see what happens. The worst that can happen is you wake up from it! XD
To Darkmatters: You've got it right. If you believe and willfully expect it to happen, you'll see it happen. If that's not enough, just paint or write on the door. :)
Try creating a mech-suit or something Ironman-esque to spice it up a bit. :P I've actually had a similar dream but I was getting owned by the terrorists. I wish I would have been lucid to build me an arsenal.
Murdering people in dream is normal. Try during the day not think about it and you wont dream about it , dreams are usually a mixed information of what you have been thinking during the day. And be sure your not stressed before sleep because you can start sleep walking and really start killing people.
Actually, Sleep Paralysis prevents that.
Actually its REM atonia. I'm only correcting you because I too used to think this referred to sleep paralysis, but these are two different things. :) But actually sleep walking has nothing to do with dreaming, it is slow wave sleep disorder. It's a common misconception that sleep paralysis/REM atonia malfunction is the cause of sleep walking.
What are the bad experiences people have had with killing dream people? I imagine it would be really cathartic especially if you did it to someone you didn't like!
I don't think there's any harm in it, it proabably says quite a lot about your state of mind though! Maybe don't go around telling everyone you want to do this!

If we are lucid in dreams and we are practicing hatred then create more hatred in life or, many symbolic dreams killing can be very healthy in my experience
I work with someone incredibly annoying and aggressive, and there is nothing more satisfying than going lucid, teleporting to work and then beating nine bells out of him. No-one gets hurt in real life, but it does release a lot of tension.
Lol, you want to go to Afghanistan... and you also want to murder people?
2 + 2 = you want to murder people in Afghanistan?
I always use the door thing :)
Just go up to it and KNOW that whatever you want is on the other side. I also sometimes have success with just closing my eyes and knowing that when I open them I'll be wherever I wanna be. Good luck!!
Also remember that this technique has endless possibilities, eg. you need car keys BUT YOU HAVE NONE! So just know that they're in your pocket and voila there they are

...or not there.
This idea occured to me a while ago, for teleporting. If you're a fan of The Matrix, try the keymaker trick, use a special key on a door to make it lead to somewhere else (like the hall of doors thing from the second matrix film).
You've done it? Aw hell, it was me, wasn't it? You killed me in a dream because I'm that awesome.
Regarding All that Matrix stuff, when yumester talked about immagining an armory, I immagined the huge gun racks from when Neo and Trinity were gearing up before the lobby scene.
Ok, why do you want to only kill people in Afghanistan??? You know not everyone is in the taliban, killing people in the west or the middle east, either way its the same thing.
Or there's an Western soldier stationed there that he has a grudge against or he really does believe that's where Bin Laden's hiding (I have my doubts) and wants to feel like he saved the world (in which case we're lucky it's a dream cuz in real life it wouldn't work that way), or one of a hundred other reasons. That's one of the great things about the human mind, there's no way to know 100% sure what's going through it unless it's your own.
I kill people all the time in my dreams, I don't see anything wrong with it, it's basically just like hitting the delete button on a character.
XD Actually, it wasn't; my victim resembled the sheriff from Cool Hand Luke (the guy with the aviator shades).
Actually, I think it's pretty disturbing considering that he seems to be targetting a specific country. It's one thing to say that he wants to see what happens what he does it to a random person but to name a country? :?
^^ Agreed.
Personally, never saw the fascination of killing people in dreams. I would have a hard time doing it if I'm lucid :)
Wondering if what is meant to kill a "Real" person (in the waking life shared dream) or dream characters in a dream dream. I've done the later thousands of times. I've killed muggers, bad guys, been in wars and killed many at a time. With my hands, guns, knives, swords, magic etc, shapeshifted into a werewolve and killed other "evil" monsters At first it is wierd becuse of our conditioning to do only good. Consciousness is one and its all a dream, attain the reality and it seems all like a movie, why get upset or worried about anything. Seek love, joy, happiness and wisdom and self control, self mastery.
I don't believe the OP just wants to go around shooting citizens of Afghanistan. It seems that his intention is the war in Afghanistan, as in shooting insurgents and military personell, not innocents. It seems some people jumped to conclusions too quickly.
Last year I had a horrible nightmare that me and my friend chopped up my ex gf ( we were together at the time ) and stuffed her in a garbage bag. I don't think my subconcious liked her.
hunh well this is an interesting subject. I've only killed a human in my dreams once, and it was out of self defense/fear. I woke up a little creeped out but otherwise nothing else happened. Of coarse I've died more times in my dreams than I've killed things in my dreams.
last night i had a really strange lucid and i wasn't at 100% awareness for this part. I was at a house with my friend and about a 45 year old woman. i knew the woman was gonna go behind my back or something, so I followed her into the bathroom and slit her throat with a razor. its actually more disturbing than i thought it would be.
I'm a natural Lucid Dreamer, not that i have a natural mastery of induction but that i dream a lot (usually, though i've just went through a 2 week dry spell) and i have excellent recall due to when i was younger i would draw things from my dreams. So i have no problem at all realizing i'm dreaming and asserting lucidness in my dreams. It's happened quite often for me after i started imploring it to rid myself of nightmares as a young teen. So i would spend my nights (i trained in ninjutsu as a young teen) suited up in a bad ass ninja outfit and would patrol my city for criminals and scum.
When i found these people, i would serve them the justice i felt they deserved. Sometimes they were shoplifters, others were rapists, murderers, gangs, and the such. I felt like i was righteous in doing these things.
When i found out what lucid dreaming was (at about 13-14), i believed that by killing these evil dream characters i was wiping these evil thoughts from my sub-conscious and cleansing my mind.
Now, after speaking with a friend here at DV, and in light of my taking up of Zen Buddhism i've found that it may be harmful to myself to do these things.
I have found that my sub-conscious may have been teaching a lesson with these dreams. I feel like i shouldn't have been killing them, but helping them to see the error in their ways that doesn't end their lives but helps them to change.
So now i no longer kill my DC's. I try to spread insight and wisdom.
Some dreams slip in through the cracks, thoughts become actions, and dreams are essentially thoughts are they not? So one would think habits or mannerisms in dreams may begin to show in waking life.
please elaborate if you would?
well if there was an afgan holding a gun in his dream then it would be a terrorist simply becuase it is his dream you have no say in whether he wants to kill terrorists or civilians. he can do wats he want cuz its his dream
i would see killing people in my dream as a way to relief stress and i would see it as if i hated someone alot and they did something that made me angry, taking it out on them in my dreams is much better that taking it out on them in real life
I have a feeling the OP specified Afghan-native terrorists to ensure they weren't chastised for asking about killing people willy nilly whether it would be justifiable homicide in real life or not. (An obvious point of legal contention.) For this reason, I'd like to answer that person's question with an all-encompassing "yes, you can murder in dreams, though it is a different experience for everyone" response. Let's not get caught up on the details, it doesn't help answer his/her question in the long run. :)
There's also a possibility a terrorist killed somebody he loved, and he wants dream-revenge.
Indeed, and I had that thought, but for the sake of answer his question, we should just leave it at "yes", and not speculate too much beyond what the question is for. :)
I have a friend who's a natural lucid dreamer who has DILDs almost every night. He used to tell me that every LD he killed DC's brutally and forced sex on celebs etc... Every once he a while he would come to school really shaken up and disturbed.. He talked of a terrifying recurring lucid dream character that takes away his control and tortures him. The character has a burnt face and wears a suit. Usually he has really good control but when this character appears he can't do anything and is completely at his mercy.
Do you think there's any link? Personally I don't. I think it is okay to do evil acts in lucid dreams as long as you don't get too addicted to it. Maybe the DC was his dream guide testing him?
You mean like karma? Like, because he fantasies about doing morally abominable acts he is proportionately punished for his indulgences? There's always that possibility.
Well I suffer from dreams where I am not lucid. Its more of a nightmare.. A grow claws or have a dagger. I run around and stab them and drink their blood and eat there flesh... Its really demented. I become lucid at the end of it... Recognize what all ive done and become freaked out then wake up. Its terrible... dont kill people like that in your dreams if you do your twisted... I gues im twisted but I cant control it. Im not lucid until after I kill everything
You're not twisted. Recognizing and thinking about things is far different from enjoying them. The best of us have the most troubled of consciences.
