      Dream control issue

      Hi guys,
I've recently had a happy boost in the number of lucid dreams in the past week (3 in the past week, 2 today). I normally have a lucid once every 3 or 4 months or something. however, there's difficulty with them since I have nearly 0 conscious control in the recent ones. My first lucid was very clear and I had nearly full conscious control. These ones, I basically realize I'm dreaming and then nearly immediately stop being lucid. It's annoying, because I hardly ever remember to even try to increase my vividness or level of consciousness. In nap dreams now, I also have a problem with my eyes. If they close in the dream, I can't open them again or I'll be caught trying to open my real eyes and then I'll wake up.
Normally what I would try to do is quickly say "More lucidity now" which worked very well once. The next time I tried it, which was last night, my voice was very quiet, almost like just a loud thought, and it did absolutely nothing. I've heard "spinning" is supposed to help, but I can't ever remember to try it, and I'm not sure what exactly is meant by that. Do you just turn around quickly?
      Any help is greatly appreciated

practice, also, you may want to check out the DV Academy for some Dream control classes.

I usually wake myself then think of my goals strongly before returning back to bed. This usually gives me a strong DILD encouraged by WBTB.

      "MementoMori, the lucid machine"

"There's nothing better than knowing what it's like to fly like superman. Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."
