I had a LD this morning and it started to fade suddenly one of dream characters screamed my name and all surrounding around her started to be more clear and overall dream was more vivid, I tryed to make DC call my name again when my dream started to fade and again dream become more stable and vivid.
PS: I dont know if this is new but Iv never heard/read about it.

If not new, it's certainly a variation on the theme. Stabilizing the dream in general involves increasing external stimuli, which is typically done by interacting with the environment in a rigorous manner, like jumping, running, spinning, or flying. Everything requires your attention to exist, so having a DC yell at you certainly engages your attention.
Cusp hit the nail on the head. Its an interesting idea, I'll be sure to try it.

Last night, instead of rubbing my own hands together, I took a DCs hand and rubbed it! LOL
