Going to try this...

I thought of something to do in my next LD a while ago, but I havent had a chance to yet. I was wondering if anybody had thought about doing something similar or if they had done this before. I was thinking about all of the things I did in my younger years that I don't remember today. Even though I can't remember a lot of the stuff that happened in my childhood, the memories are still in my head somewhere right? Anyways, my idea is to find a dream character and ask them to take me to a movie theater that is playing my forgotten memories. If it goes as planned I want to enter the movie theater and watch memories that I never would have remembered while awake on the big screen. Have any of you thought about doing or done anything similar?

Not a bad idea, but I highly doubt it'll work.

That's an awesome idea, though I doubt I would ever remember to do that lol.

I have thought about this numerous times, but have never gotten around to trying it. I'm gonna add this to my goals list, and please post your results if you ever get around to trying it!

That's an interesting idea, although I'd just ask the DC to tell me right up-front.

Once I heard that while we are dreaming our brain has a bigger brain activity (not in all areas). Because of this, you could remembering events of your past better than if you are awake. Search in google "sleep brain activity" or something alike, maybe you could find more information about this.

Yeah, a lot of brain studys indicate you remember a lot more then you consciously do so i would believe it would work.

Well I tried it! It was a few nights ago, I don't quite remember all the details. However I do remember walking up to a DC and asking them if they woudl take me to the movie theater where they were playing all of my old memories. He took me there and on the screen was one of my friends from high school in a mcdonalds commercial in a football uniform. He was pretty much the star athlete of our school. Thats all I really remember! I guess I'll go back to asking DC's for winning lottery numbers! lol
