Empowering yourself with dream characters

Ahhhhhh. My dry spell has ended. And with it came an awesome Lucid dream.

I bacame lucid. (I don\'t know how). But there were several dream characters around me, all of who I did not know. I do not know what made me think of this. Because my lucidity was at a low level I decide to see if I could take the dream characters power and use it for my self. Much like in the Matrix when agent smith would take over anothers form. Wich is mind boggleing if you think about it. I believe a dream character is another manifestation of yourself or should I say image? Some believe diffrantly, as they are real people.
Once I merged into their/my body my lucidity soared through the roof. It was fabulous. I was like Superman. I could fly at unbelievable speeds. I flew up into the cosmos where the colors were, well out of this world. I can\'t even explain it in words. The vividness. Colors I don\'t even know had existed.

So if my dream Characters are like I say and are just expressions of myself, by combining them together I gained a high level lucidity.

Sounds awesome Jason...and makes alot of sense as well. I'll try to do this in my next lucid (I tend to neglect my DCs alot and I'm going to make it a point to interact more with them for reasons other than sexual haha)

BTW - why wasn't I there.

That sounds great... It's just the kind of thing I can't wait to use the dream world for.

So basically, its like you were Captain Planet, but it was really Captain Dream (I mean after your powers were combined and all).

Ya. Kind of like that.
As I can recall I only consumed three dream characters. Had there been more in the dream scape I don't know if I would have done that to them all or if I would have been satisfiied with the powers I had gained?
It was cool though.

That's awesome Howe, hopefully I'll come off my dryspell soon as well.

Your lucidity level couldn't have been that low if you were able to come up with such an idea. It sounds like you were really WAY out there, man!

Hey, did these characters try to get away from you at all? Or did they seem to be there for that purpose? I could see myself trying this and end up wasting a lucid dream just chasing DCs -- "wait, come back!... let me touch you, damnit!... wait!..."

That is funny you say that. My freind also said, "man, what the hell made you think of that?" I don't honestly know. I don't believe I was aware of such a notion before this dream either. Other than what I said earlier about the matrix scenareo.
But to answer your question, the dream characters were willing participants. There was no rebuttle from any of them.
I think I will try this again.
Hope your dry spell ends soon tornadoe joe.

I recently told a friend of mine about lucid dreaming, and the various 'reality checks'.

Keeping in mind I've been trying for awhile he got one just the other night! I was rather annoyed. Apparently he counted his fingers once, and when he counted again he had a different number of fingers! Ah...its stories like this that make me want to try even harder!
So...which is real, the pink one or the black one?

That sounds so Cool! I hope I will be able to do that type of thing in my LDs soon. I never think to do things like that because excitement usually takes over and I want to take everything in...consequently, most of my LD consist of me studying my surroundings.

[quote]That sounds so Cool

If you have enough awareness to study your surroundings, I think that is great. To me at least, that is one of the best things you can do. Rather than trying to manipulate the dream scene you take a step back to see what the dream scene can offer to you.
