I've used a wand in Harry Potter-based non-lucids. The spells are really hard to remember, though, so I usually default back to Force powers. |

So in my mainly fruitless attempts at LDing my main problem has traditionally been that while I can attain some level of lucidity, I am unable to actually do anything special. I attribute this to a lack of confidence, but whatever. A few weeks ago, however, I had a dream which went lucid in which I manipulated a few things with a wand, truly HP style. |

I have never used a wand because I have near perfect controll in my lucids. I think a wand can be good or bad. It is a dream tool (eww new term) since you use it only in dreams it is logical to reach for it when you become lucid. In some ways a tool could be scene as a crutch if, it got to the point were even if you become lucid a lot you cannot do anything without it. |

I tried using a magic wand before. I managed to make the wand appear- nothing else. Probably because the wand was a little gimmecky, you know, the plastic wands in magic kits. I since discovered that I don't need a wand as I am quite good at dream control. |

It's interesting the way I began using the wand; it certainly wasn't on purpose, it just fit into a dream. Now it just seems most logical to pull it from my pocket. It's always there. |

That's one of my goals, actually. I'd love to be able to have consistent lucid dreams and be able to use a Harry Potter wand in them. |
|
I would take advantage of it and learn to control it...who knows might might become a dream sign or even your "thing"...imagine if you got good with it? |

I don't use a magic wand, but I do use my "magic hand" which I use like a wand . For levitating stuff, and squirting things out of it (gum to stop my enemy (I'm not violent) and to squirt dough out of it- I was making muffins!). |

If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Excuse my english
Yeah I've used a wand in a couple of dreams, one lucid. For me, it's a way of actually achieving passive control rather than active control because it makes impossible things like telekenisis more believable via the spell 'accio' - things that I have read about and attempted to visualise/seen in films are easier to pull off while lucid for me It's something I'd like to explore more too. |

'Tis now the very witching time of night,
When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out
Contagion to this world.
