      Starting a Lucid dream base.

Hello everyone. I have been lurking here on and off and decided to bring up a little experiment. I was thinking of this, what if you could create a base in a lucid dream of your liking anywhere. It could be a made up place. Then you were to set it in your brain that this is where you will always start a dream and along with that you would instantly become lucid. It could be a little hangout you have always dreamed of. Would this ever work? I have only thought of this recently and haven't had a chance to try it out. Would like some feedback on the topic.

This would definately work, my GF who also lucid dreams has slowly started building up a lucid dream hangout of her own, which consists of a blank white room and a white door that she always appears in (WILD'ing) and beyond the door is who knows?

A great idea/I think a lucid dream base would help become lucid

      AWAKE?

Yea LaBerge talks about this idea in EWOLD. I guess if you wanted this as a LD destination you could VILD into it.

I've always dreamed (lol) of being able to dream this. This will be my new goal, as soon as I become proficient at lucid dreaming. It'll be a kind of "hub" for all my dream activities.

Since I heard about lucid dreaming I've been mentally designing such a location. I've not had my first lucid yet, so maybe it's premature, but being able to explore a totally imaginary location of my own conscious design is a massive part of why I'm interested in lucid dreaming.

A big part of it is that I'm a 3D artist/designer and want to see if I can design an environment while awake and then explore it in a realistic fashion in my dreams. I also want to explore the potential of using dreams as a tool for designing an environment.

That sounds really interesting! I have never thought about lucid dreaming being used in such a way but it sounds like you could have a big advantage. In your dream, you could also create a little tablet device that enables you to select something that you are viewing and edit it with the tablet and just walk around in your masterpiece improving whatever you please :3

Yes, you can do it. It doesn't guarantee lucidity, but it helps.
