I think this is a very interesting LD goal! For me, I wouldn't really want to get hit by the car, but I do want to jump and run along the roof like you said. Let me know when you achieve your dream goal and how it was |

A recent LD goal of mine has been to be hit by a car. I know it’s stupid because there is a small chance that I’m actually awake. I’m not suicidal. I’m just curious how my mind would simulate the experience. Would I go flying when hit or would I just wake up? Another goal is to jump and run along the roof of a moving car. What’s interesting is that whenever I try to do this, the cars always swerve away from me. My subconscious must be too afraid of being hit. The only exception is that one time I got hit. The car stopped when it hit me, and then I picked it up and threw it. |

You have to believe that you can and will land on the car. A few suggestions. |

Go for it! In my opinion, one of the best things about lucid dreaming is that it lets you try things you would never do in real life. Funny coincidence, last night I was curious about how this would work, and threw myself in front of a huge speeding truck. It smacked into me then ran me over. The second one phased through me. :S |

I tried this the other night, too. I stepped in front of a car wanting to stop it with my body. But the car slammed on its brakes before it hit me. |

I would like to jump in front of a train in a really packed train station.ùwhere can I find this month's lucid task? |

when i have a lucid dream the first thing I will do isorder a pizza.
PIZZA
pizza is sacred.
Not much of a dream goal for me, as I've had it happen in real life. Interestingly enough, lucid dreaming probably saved my life. At the time I was having lucids that started with something bad about to get me and I would just think to myself "No, this can't be happening! I'm not gonna die like this!". After many lucids initiated that way, the "this can't be happening" just became "NO!!!!". So when I saw the car speeding towards me, my mind just screamed "NO!!!!". As the car was about to clip my legs, I jumped straight up, did a karate roll over the windshield, which launched me 20 feet from where I was standing, landed in another roll, and ran for the first piece of grass I saw when I looked up and saw more cars coming at me. Not a bone broken in my body, but after the car hit me, it hit another woman and broke both her legs. Bit of road rash, but otherwise I was fine. |

Wow, this is very interesting because before i even knew what lucid dreaming was, i did this. It was on the road in front of my driveway and i had put a rubber band around my head and it was keeping my eyelids half shut (to stay in the dream). i was standing in the middle of the road and a car came flying by way faster then cars go on that road and it seemed almost like a video game, the car simply went through me, and i didnt feel a thing. Just woosh and it was gone. i turned around and it wasnt behind me either it had just vanished. Fun to do though, just make sure its in a dream |
