From space to the depths of a dark underground labrynth.

All in one dream at that. Well, 2, sort of. Anyways, I'll post what I can remember, which even by itself is pretty strange.

So it starts off while I'm in some sort of space ship that is transporting people, and it seemed almost military style, but not as strict. Anyways, I'm some sort of ranking official or important passenger on the ship. And the ship is heading towards a planet of some sort and we're supposed to explore it. On the way, the ship stops on a barren planet/large meteor for whatever reason. All of a sudden, a small person (not sure if it's a child or what) jumps outside in a space suit, but is not attached to the ship. So I jump out, make sure, I'm secure, and go and get the small person and bring them back. When I bring them back, I get a good look inside the ship and think of the inside of a passenger jet, but with a lower ceiling and multiple levels, but the entrance I come in at is very similar to that a charter bus like Greyhound (tight corner from the door to the seats) but a very large passenger area. Oddly enough, there is an "outside" very much like on a cruise ship where people can go out and look at everything while the ship is moving, though it's always dark as night and no danger of people suffocating or drifting away. This kind of thing keeps going a while longer (and I don't remember much else of this part).

And then we get to the place we're going. I don't remember much what it looked like on the outside, but the inside there was air, and was essentially a very dark maze of multiple levels, a labyrinth as I said. How to best describe it? If you have ever seen the Fellowship of the Ring where they are going through Moria, and it seems there are many halls and rooms, combine that with the size and scale of the Lonely Mountain, Erebor, in the Desolation of Smaug. That is what it seemed like on scale. Some places were cavernous, others were about the size of a high school classroom. And I explored this place for sometime with the other people, at times alone, other times in a group that I would meet up with while exploring. And while in the middle of looking through one particular room, which actually seemed like it had been a classroom, I woke up to my dog whining at me.

Very cool. Did you feel like it might be a real experience on the astral? I can never tell with dreams like that...
