A beginning of sorts

This dream is one of my top 5 best dreams ever. Although it was short (what I can actually recall clearly). I had it when I was a young teenager. At the time, I was just beginning to really pay attention to my dreams, as I was having so many vivid and meaningful experiences.

I found myself on the ocean moving towards the land ahead. I was sitting on something and when I looked down I realized it was a big turtle. I was in awe of the entire scene. The air was different, so clear, like it was new. The color of everything was equally clear and also felt new. It was beautiful. There was no-one else around. I got to the shore and began walking inland through the grass and trees, again amazed by the beauty and wild vividness of the place. I soon realized there were animals around and none of them were afraid of me, nor I them. Something then began communicating with me. I couldn't see it, and it was speaking in my mind. I don't remember much of what it said, but it was comforting. It told me that we ( yes, 'we', even though I had yet to see any other people) were not to harm any animals in any way. We would be taught how to create our own food. I don't remember anything after that.

When I woke up, I could still feel that place. Of course, the feeling faded much too fast, but at least I still have the memory.
