Dream with no climax about gf

Hey people,

A view days ago i dreamed that me and my ex gf where in a restaurant together, it was a south-european restaurant(Italian or Greek, I just got back from Greece) and i went to a man and asked wether he had a room for us to stay, and he had one. We walked through a door and there was a small hotel. Next i was suddenly home to tell my dad that i would go to a friend of mine and stay there because it is his birthday(this friend also went to greece with me) en next up i was back at the hotel with my gf. We looked inside the room but no matter how long the dream took, it didn't become later nor we where able to actually endorse the fact of sleeping together in one bed, hugging, kissing and even make love. In the dream i tried to actually wait till nighttime so i could lay in bed with her, but it just didn't happen.

More info. I am very busy with my ex because i still love her. We broke up for a view months now and she slept with other guys and that hurt me a lot. When we where together we where never allowed to actually spend the night together. All those times of her doing things with other guys hurt me but I cannot let her go and every day I want to be with her and everyday I feel the pain of thinking about her one night stands. It has been going on like this for a long time, and our social relation is not getting any better. Its not bad but we are not coming to the point that she actually wants to try it again, but i still want to be with her.

I read on another website that hotels illustrate going away from the daily life and such and that could be logical if i had to let my ex gf go but why is she at the place where i go to if i want to go away from the daily life?

Can anybody tell me something about this dream.

Sounds like when you think about sex with her, you are reminded of her other sexual relationships. You don't want to be hurt, even in your dreams. Dreams have a habit of showing what you don't want to see too. Imagine going further with her in a dream and the scene then switching to her being with another guy? Dreams can and will do that, so perhaps you actually don't want to "go there".

Your statement about hotels sounds credible. I get the sense of a distance between you in the dream, it doesn't feel intimate to me and I wonder if you're thinking too hard at the expense of getting in touch with your feelings here? (A general comment, not just about the dream).
