The more I cut the longer her hair went

Last night I had a very strange dream.
I was going to cut my daughters hair (9 years old) and the more I cut the longer her hair went.
By the end she couldn’t see anything because of that huge mountain of hair in front of her face.
It wasn’t a scaring dream just very strange.
What could that hair-thing mean?

I think that it really depends on what you're going through in your life, especially with your daughter. It could mean a whole array of things, or it could not mean anything.

I think to truly interpret you need to evaluate the rest of your life.

However, what comes to my mind is... Maybe you're smothering/sheltering her even if you feel that what you're doing is a good thing, if you keep doing the same thing you're going to get the opposite result.

I tried looking it up in a dream dictionary and couldn't find anything.

Sorry, but I don't think it meant anything. The more attention you give something in dreams, the more related detail it creates. The more you focused on the hair, the more of it there was. It's just the way dreams work.
