A few lucid dreams I need help with

Hey all.. I dont really know how to describe my experience with lucid dreams seeing as I never choose to have them happen.. but I think the first one occurred when I was around 8 or 9.. I kept having reoccuring dreams about vampires and then all of a sudden I was able to change the dream and I never had it again.. anyway so over the past couple years or so I've been having lucid dreams periodically.. generally good dreams but nothing of interest really. Over the past month or so I've had 5 unintended lucid dreams all really freaky and usually dealing with monsters. The usual formula is that I'll be in an everyday situation (my dorm room,) doing normal things so I think im actually conscious until a certain point where I realize I'm dreaming.. and that I'm conscious. This is the point where whatever is evil or terrible happens.. usually a friend turning into a monster and then I wake up screaming.. I'll give you a couple specific examples so I hope that helps:
One I had a few weeks ago and then had an awakening inside the dream, and was freaked out from the first one inside the dream.. so I rolled over in my bed, the entire room normal as usual and asked my roommate to say something so I knew i wasn't dreaming. Instead of saying something he turned all fiery and evil and demon-like, and I freaked out and woke up (For real this time, but i thought i might have still been asleep so I was freaked out)... the next week I had one about another roommate where we were all sitting around.. then someone knocked on the door and one of my friends checked it and said that it was my third roommate (i have three, all the ones mentioned so far are different).. i realized then i was dreaming because i could hear his voice behind me. my second roommate was sitting on the floor in front of my bed and i as soon as i realized it was a dream there was a flash of light.. and his brown hair changed blonde and short.. and he became a vampire and attacked me. usual waking up screaming thing
hopefully someone can gimme a hand interpreting these.. because im starting to be afraid to go to sleep.. and when i wake up from them im still not sure if im awake or not.. its pretty messed up.

Hehe, these aren't too common really, just classify them as nightmares, I too had reacurring dreams when I was young (though I dontget them much anymore) I dont think theres much significance with the vampires and monsters except perhaps you have or at one time had an interest with the supernatural or were tramatized somehow or (The list goes on and on) Do not be afraid to go to sleep, in fact a lot of people practice Lucid dreamig to prevent nightmares, so the next time you become concious Change it. Its just a dream however, remember this, and over time you should find a way to overcome the fears and change your nightmares into dreams. (You can also telling yourself before sleep 'its just a dream' or 'I will have a lucid dream.')
