      Odd Family-ish Dream

      Heya. So I need some help interpreting this dream of mine. First some background info;

      I have Anxiety Disorder, though I've been better this year than the previous 3, and my dream is family related. Sort of. I never got to know my father's side of the family. They never really cared to know us either. I've only ever known my Uncle Jerry from his side, and I've been told I once met my grandmother on my father's side, though I don't remember her.
      Anywho, I know all of my family on my mother's side, and our relationship with them....well, with most of them, there isn't one, and me and the rest of my immediate family feel as if the last of them have abandoned us, or used us.
      I'd also like to mention that I'm currently looking to go to college for creative writing. I have quite a creative mind as I'm told, and I'm looking forward to being published. If that helps at all, well, there it is.

      Alrighty, onto my dream; So me and my entire family, including some unknowns, whose faces I can't even remembers, are gathered around a table, eating, laughing, joking, and basically enjoying each other's company. I don't remember much of the conversation. Something about pandas, and I think I almost jokingly said to someone **** you. XD
      Anywho, this went on for most of the dream. I can't recall the background sadly. But I remember, near the end of the dream, we were having dessert I think. And then suddenly we were floating out in the middle of the ocean during a storm. It ended with a loud crack of lightning. Before that, I recall everyone but my immediate family being gone.

      I have my guesses what the dream means, but I'm also confused, as it is highly unlikely that the rest of our family would even give a thought to joining us, or just paying a visit. As for the unknown faces, I have a hunch that, since it was family, that they were my dad's family.

      Anywho, I'd appreciate any help with figuring this one out. Thanks in advance.

      EDIT: I thought of a couple extra details. Everyone of them is important, no? x) My grandmother passed away last month, and my uncle Paul on my mom's side. He was an infant. SIDS I think.

      Modification of human behavior depends upon experience. Waking experience is common to all, dream experience is particular to the dreamer. Now, if one comes to understand that the experience does not originate from within, then one understands that one is only a receiver of information meant for their mind, but not know because we really cannot see ourselves.

      To use the lucid dream for the purpose of communication that one may understand means that one will have to focus on a particular question that they are asking. The answer will be in dream form, but at least one is aware of the topic and has a better chance of understanding it.

      Chances increase if one studies the fundamentals of language, only taught through such people as Plato, Euclid. etc.,

      If one understands the dream as a language, then it is not what the dream means, but the giver of the dream. What is meant will be directly related to your response--often too subtle to understand.

      We learn all languages when we are aware of the topic. An example of misunderstanding would be something like all of the commentaries of the Platonic dialogs--all missing the point because they could not see the actual topic.
