i keep having dreams where im like, in space kinda, in blank open empty places... and like, im usually running from a man who's trying to murder me... and the last one i had i was running around this empty kind of aze like place with these purplish blue walls ( happens 2 be my fav color ) and a shadows following me, and then i realzie im dreaming, and so i thought, haha, im dreaming, it cant hurt me now, so i turned around and walked a few steps then i woke up, its a;ways like this, i realize im dreaming, start to become lucid and then i wake up, for no reason, and i DONT get excied or nething, well sometimes i do , ne suggestions on my wierd dreams or how to keep lucidity (and no, the spinning technique does not work, im not usually lucid long enuff to go on a twirling spree, but might i say, i cant twirl pretty well )

Well, the first thing that springs to mind is that you seem to have a severe case of depression. Don't let this drag you down--seek councilling if necessary. Believe me, I've dealt with the whole depression thing, and it's something that will ruin your life if left to run its course. Back when I was in my worst bit of depression, I'd have lots of dreams involving dark locations, especially space. Just stand up and fight it! We're all there when you need us.

Besides that, just build your confidence. It's not hard--just believe that the LD will go on. Don't think too much about it, either--thinking brings doubt.

Have fun, and PM me if you need any help in the future!

Tsen is right. There is either something emotionally troubling you or there could be a neurological problem. When you are a teen it is hard to face some of this stuff, but when you get older you can strike out on your own and sometimes that helps.

I do not want to say the obvious and probably cliche things about your dream, just know that life can change if you are willing to seek help. There are lots of people who would sit and talk to you and be there for you. But I would suggest finding them in the phone book under Doctor something, rather than on the internet. This is no put down to any of us here, its just safer.

On the interpetation: The first question is always are you using any kind of drugs or alchohol? If so that may be the only reason you are having these dreams. Assuming that is not the case, since you seem to go lucid all the time, it might be speaking of you awakening into your strength. Knowing that whatever you have felt afraid of will not always be able to terrify you. You can take control of your dreams and you can take control of your life. I think you know how and what I am speaking about. Just dont do anything stupid. OK! And like Tsen said there are people here who will listen.

      Good luck!
