Thread: Three women angels dream

The symbolism of three women is ancient. Often depicted as three witches, sometimes referred to as "the three Marys" in heretic Christian writings in the first century, and even back in classic mythology you'll come across this. Not sure if that helps, mind, but it's probably worth googling what others make of the symbolism.

Regarding the critical point of the dream - eye contact - the question I'd be asking is: Why has your subconscious created this angelic person who can't look into your eyes? Is it because at some level you believe that someone pure will not find you pure? Maybe "pure" isn't the right word - but whatever you think "she" represents.

I would also look at Jung's description of the anima - or female spirit. Again, lots on google.

In all honesty she didn't want to look me in the eye and too be honest most of my dreams are very logical. I believe she had no respect for me at all! Why If I felt such a close connection to her? you where pretty general about this dream and I can only figure out my dreams way later on. I get extremely puzzle when they are in front of my face but when time goes on I figure them out. Thats why I like others insite on it and there is not enough info on the three marys. I have no idea what this dream means its way too holy for me.

You said they are angels, so they are. Angels, like God, cannot look upon our sinful nature. (that is why He sent his son. Now when He looks upon His children He sees us through the sacrificial blood of His son, Jesus)

You have flaws/sins/fall short like we all do, and you desire to be good enough to gain the direct look of an angel (and therefore God also). It is He whom the angels work for, and they who gather His children to assist in His work on earth....it is God's work they are going to do. You are aware of your short comings, but that revelation is the beginning of holy enlightenment. To see your own sin, is actually a gift to you from God, .

How can it be too holy if your own subconscious created it? Maybe the three witches/Marys/muses/whatever is a red herring. But sometimes folklore can be informative.

Sounds like this woman has a kind of enchantment about her yet she doesn't want you to enchant her. I don't think "dream meanings" is the best way to describe what we do, because we start looking for literal and symbolic meanings whilst marginalising the emotional side of the dream. So.........how did you feel and how did she feel in the dream?

Still doesn't mean you have to be a self righteous asshole. Jesus hanged out with a prostitute and still treated her as a equal. In Indian beliefs everything is equal meaning people plants tree animals and everything on this earth. I am pretty sure Jesus would look me in the eye.

Well I felt amazed when I saw her and when I tried to make eye contact she completely ignored me. That hurt me that bad. If she was perfect she would know not to hurt me.

Yes there where three the only one that appealed to me the most was the on the right

There are a number of religious people who post or have posted here over the years. Some, I think, are genuine and really believe what they write and believe they are being helpful. Others have a different agenda, perhaps trying to convert the unbeliever through offering certainty in a forum which by definition works with doubt. A very few are trolls.

I don't know where YSM72 fits in. I would be wary of anyone claiming they know exactly what a dream means anyway. I would also appreciate YSM72 engaging more with posters, as he/she does not come across in a very genuine way at the moment. This is, after all, a discussion forum on dream meanings. Maybe YSM72 can explain why he/she believes your dream to be related to the Zechariah passage as opposed to, for example, your last three girlfriends.

The most obvious and most simple question is, who is it that you want to look into your eyes? You referred to yourself as having a "beautiful soul". Who is in your life, (past present, or even future) that you want to reveal that quality to without words (eye contact). You want this to be seen by others.

Yes I would love to have that quality in a future partner. I don't have anyone in mind and I will let the future decide who I would like to see this from another person.

Just a thought - but you say "past, present and future". Wondering if, unconsciously, you might think these are related to the three angels? OK, sounds like Scrooge, but just a thought.

This has nothing to do with three angel I believe. I believe it has something to do with a insecurity within my self or about my mother which I don't want to get into. If its about my mother then I know exactly what it means

"Exactly" is a good place to arrive.
